🚀 We will have a launch night this Saturday, January 18th, at 8pm in the Clubhouse. People will find out their roles and movies they have been cast in. Dave Harrington from East Coast FM will MC on the night. The drama and suspense of it all! To round the night off there will also be music by Shindig at 9.30pm.
📝 Then we get down to business and learn our lines with loads of help from everyone. The films are 10 minutes long so there will not be a huge amount of lines for people to learn. Rehearsals will be one night a week over 4 weeks in Broadford National School. The schedule is below, each film will receive a time slot. Thank you to Broadford NS for facilitating us.
🎥 Time then for LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION as your masterpiece is recorded!! This will take place on February 22nd/February 23rd and March 1st/2nd and take approximately 5-6 hours.
🤵♀️🤵♂️ With all the filming completed, it is time to kick back and enjoy the show and the style- it is The Oskars after all! We all head to The Johnstown Estate on March 15th to view the films and cheer on the Best Movie, Best Actor etc.
📋 All our amazing actors will have sponsorship cards so please support them if you can. Whoever sponsors an actor will be entered into a draw for a €500 voucher for The Connacht Hotel, the perfect base for your adventure in the beautiful West of Ireland.
This really is an amazing thing to be involved in. We are very excited to be able to bring this to the community and experience it altogether.
