We were very sad to hear of the passing of John Mulraney yesterday (Tuesday May 14th). John was an absolute gentleman and a Cloghs man through and through. You always received a great welcome when John was on the gate! He always had a friendly smile and chat for all. John will be missed along the side line, a time made all the more special when his son Joe was togged out. He will also be missed in the Club House for the post match analysis.
We extend our deepest sympathies to his wife Anne, his children Frances, Patricia, Joe and John Jnr., brothers Seamus and Paddy, sisters Josie, Lily, Phyllis, Vera, Christina and Kathleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The club will be making a donation to Cancer Research in memory of John.
We will hold a Guard of Honour on Friday at 10.30am, all please meet at the top of Clogherinkoe hill and wear club colours.
Please also note that the lotto has been postponed until Monday May 20th as a mark of respect to the Mulraney family.
Our Division 2 league game against Kilcock has also been postponed, new fixture tbc.
